Melkior acquires three claims in Tiblemont Township, Quebec

Ottawa,Ontario.Melkior Resources Inc. (“Melkior”) (TSX.V: MKR; OTCPK: MKRIF; FSE: MEK)  is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 100% interest in 3 mineral claims in Tiblemont Township located 43 km east of Val d’Or, Quebec.  The claims overlie a regional, wide, north-east trending, gold-bearing shear Zone and have numerous quartz and gold rich boulders on surface.

Melkior owns a 100% interest in 30 adjacent claims covering 480 hectares which have a work surplus of $262,235.07 from previous work.

Melkior also owns 35 claims covering 560 hectares in Vauquelin Township.  These claims are located 25 kilometres southeast of the Tiblemont block.  The Vauquelin claims are due west of historical small gold deposits named Bruell and Aurora.

The three new Tiblemont claims are being purchased for 200,000 common shares of Melkior and a 2% Net Smelter Return Royalty (NSR) to the vendor with an optional buy back of 1% for $1,000,000.  The vendor also retains the right to exploit at his cost surface gold (above bedrock) in overburden and residual rock from historical mining.  In this material Melkior retains a 2% NSR. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

The location of the new claims in relation to Melkior’s current properties is seen below.
