Elemental maps will be generated and presented on the Melkior website as further chemical results are received from the soil sampling program. The soil samples presented above were collected at the southwestern end of the soil grid, about eight kilometers from where soil sampling was conducted by Melkior last year. An initial program of 5,000 A-Horizon soil samples locations have been established, samples are being collected on a 50m x 50 m grid spacing. The following link, released in a previous news release, presents the layout of the soil sampling program over a base map depicting areas of bedrock conductivity.
